Jenny Kang

Chef Jenny was born and raised on a farm outside of Seoul, Korea, gaining a passion for food and cultivation at a very young age. Being raised on a farm has inspired her to create food with focus on quality, sustainability, and locally grown ingredients.

Jenny moved to Canada to pursue an education in English. It did not take her long to realize that she wanted to pursue a career in her passion, cooking. In 2007, Jenny graduated from SAIT Culinary program. From there, she would go on to work in Calgary’s top restaurants. Her farming background and strong work ethic have shaped her approach to cooking, and to leading a strong culinary team. Jenny’s classic, traditional and new cooking techniques are guaranteed to bring love and happiness to her food, and to those who have the pleasure of enjoying it. Jenny has worked for notable restaurants in Calgary, and she currently works on her own restaurant to open in summer 2020.
